Privacy Policy (GDPR)
This document sets out the principles for the processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
We process personal data for the following purposes:

• communication via the contact form,

• sending information about projects, events and activities (newsletter),

• administration of participants in Erasmus+ and other EU programmes,

• publishing photos and videos from public events,

• fulfilment of legal obligations and keeping of accounting records.

3. Scope of Data Processed
We process only data necessary for the purposes stated above, in particular:

• first name and surname,

• e-mail address,

• telephone number (if provided),

• data required for participation in projects (age, school, country),

• photographs or videos from events.

4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the basis of:

• the data subject’s consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR,

• compliance with a legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR,

• the controller’s legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Retention of Personal Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was obtained:

• contact details: up to 1 year from the last communication,

• project participant data: 5 years (in line with EU rules),

• photos and videos: until consent is withdrawn.
  After the retention period expires, the data will be securely deleted.

6. Recipients of Personal Data
Your personal data may be disclosed to:

• contractual partners (e.g., within Erasmus+ programmes),

• IT service providers ensuring the operation of the website,

• public authorities where required by law.

7. Rights of Data Subjects
You have the right to:

• access your personal data,

• rectify inaccurate data,

• erasure (“right to be forgotten”),

• restriction of processing,

• data portability,

• withdraw consent to processing,

• lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (https://dataprotection.gov.sk).

8. Cookies
The website https://skillsupslovakia.org uses only essential technical cookies necessary for its proper functioning. We do not use analytical or marketing cookies without your explicit consent.

9. Security of Personal Data
SkillUp Slovakia adopts appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure.
